While some people consider designing or redesigning their home a stressful – rather than enjoyable – experience, Stephanie Kucek calls it fun. “I’m here to take the burden away from clients and find a look that pleases them and helps them feel at home,” she says.

A recent graduate of California State University-Chico with a bachelor’s degree in interior design, Stephanie studied color theory, space planning, floor plans and elevations, ergonomics, lighting, kitchen/bathroom design, rapid visualization, perspective drawing, art history and the history of early and modern interiors.

Her comprehensive knowledge and gift for design give Stephanie a bright perspective. “I have the ability to coordinate colors, space plan and pull a room together effectively. I enjoy creating fresh, new looks using timeless and traditional styles,” she says. “I enjoy helping clients create looks they may not be able to create on their own.”

Stephanie believes in building quality associations with her clients. “I make it a point to listen carefully to each person’s wants and needs, so I can design a space that mirrors their personality,” she explains. “Also, I give my clients more than 100% and never want them to settle for less than the best finished design.”

She enjoys staying current with fashion, travel, movies, books and anything that offers her greater insight as to the latest design trends “I’m very tuned into making the home a special place,” Stephanie notes. “I believe each client’s home deserves designs and decorations that reflect their individuality and lifestyle.”
